Savannah 100 Foundation announces Gadsden Memorial Scholarship winners

The Savannah 100 Foundation, Inc. awarded several Savannah students its prestigious 2019 Gadsden Memorial Scholarships at the Chatham County Courthouse on April 13.

The Scholarships provide $2,000 and mentoring to students who intent to become attorneys who will use the law as a vehicle to improve the quality of life in Savannah.

Awards went to:

  • Sarah Abdelrahim, sophomore, University of West GA. Sarah is also a 2017 and 2018 Gadsden Scholar.
  • Mecca Aikens, freshman, Mercer University. Mecca is also a 2018 Gadsden Scholar.
  • Nykobe Richardson (Woodville-Tompkins HS), GA College & State University
  • Alexis Williamson (Savannah Arts Academy), Duke University

The Savannah 100 Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which uses the law as a vehicle of social change and provides financial and mentoring support to promising Savannah students who intend to become attorneys who will make a difference in their communities.
